The school is founded upon the principle of being firm but fair, while prioritising the creation of a fun environment for the students to develop in and enjoy.
For the school to achieve these aims, children must always concentrate. To minimise disruption, parents, friends, and other relatives are not permitted to sit in and watch a class unless given permission in advance by KRE-8’s principal.

Examinations:
Examinations are taken under the auspice of the IDTA. This is recognised by the council of Dance Education and training. The IDTA is the largest dance teachers’ organisation in the UK. On 22 November 2011, the organisation acquired OFQUAL status, meaning credits are awarded to the graded examinations.
Pupils are entered for examinations when they are confident and have acquired the necessary standard for each level, enabling the child to progress at their own pace. Examinations in this dance school are not compulsory. All examinations are assessed by an external examiner from the IDTA, who also provide the syllabus work. Payment for examinations must be made at least one week prior to the examination date. If candidates require a specific time for examination, i.e., AM or PM, then instructors must be notified three weeks prior to the examination date. Although we endeavour to cater too all individual needs, other candidates must also be taken into consideration. The timetable for examinations cannot be changed after it has been posted on the noticeboard.
